    Ann,

I would be interested to know if anyone has been able to tell you the name of the agency that does the screenings for elder regarding driving?

My mother in law is in South Dakota (we are in TX) and I need to start researching this. I just want her to be safe.

Victoria, The agency I heard about in an NPR report was located in Florida. I think each state handles this issue differently. I suggest you contact the SD Dept. of Transportation and ask if they have a screening process or if they know of a private agency who provides this service. It’s hard to watch out after our family members from afar– I wish you and your family well.
