It has been found that every tubule of the fascia, even down to the tiniest of levels, has a hollow core through which fluid flows. Information, in the form of light and sound, travels within that fluid in the form of various wave lengths and frequencies. This is the fundamental communication that basically keeps us alive and functioning properly.
Myofascial restrictions at this level may have a significant negative impact upon our health and the functioning of our cells and wellbeing. Lynne McTaggart, author of “The Field”, states, “In healthy individuals, the quantum light is highly organized. It may be that all illness is a kind of scrambling of the frequency of this energy. In effect, their light is going out!”
Myofascial Rebounding (http://www.myofascialrelease.com/fascia_massage/public/seminar_details.asp?ProductID=46) is an extremely helpful assessment tool and treatment that allows our bodies to decrease pain and restrictions on an impressive scale. The increased rhythmic vibrations and frequencies transform our scrambled quantum light into resonance, which enables our bodies to release restrictions on a large scale.
Sincerely,
John

Thanks for posting this John. That’s awesome to know.
I LOVE rebounding and use it many times a day with almost every session whether at the beginning of the treatment to assess and help the patient and myself ground with each other; or inter-mingled with other techniques throughout the session.

Hi John, I agree. With rebounding, I am able to help my clients by communicating with them on a kinesthetic and rhythmic level which is beyond words and intellect. This is always where true healing occurs. I enjoyed this post as it provides me with helpful information to pass on to my clients about how rebounding works!!

Your words feel right on so many levels!! I am looking forward to rebounding class in Valley Forge in May. It does wonderful things for me and my clients.

I have found rebounding to be a great eye opener to a client who is new to MFR. Allowing for such a deep level of awareness, the client gets a glimpse of how profound myofascial release really is. It can bring such hope and relief to people who have been struggling for years with pain and dysfunction.

Hi John, This is a very helpful piece, thank you! You write… “every tubule of the fascia, even down to the tiniest of levels, has a hollow core through which fluid flows. Information, in the form of light and sound, travels within that fluid in the form of various wave lengths and frequencies.” Do you think the phenomenon we see in MFR and Subtle Energy sometimes where a client jerks or twitches could be energy/information arcing across fascial restrictions even at the micro-tubule level?

Hi John,
I am half way thru “Healing Ancient Wounds” and have been applying the principles you taught in Maui … my practice is deepening. Thank you ! This post re: scrambled light is so interesting … reminds me of that old commercial about the brain being on drugs … and the video of scrambled eggs (eggs representing the brain) … same but different. Looking forward to more clarity and and very much enjoying this journey of discovering authentic healing.

Thanks John,
Rebounding has been a great assessment tool for those up tight body types that just cannot let go. This techniques seems to get to the deepest restrictions. And once the patient has experienced it they love it.

I work with a person with Parkinson’s. He is very rigid when he arrives, but responds very well to MFR, especially rebounding. His function improves immensely. His request often is, “Would you please shake me?”

Hi John! In San Diego recently for a Writers conference I was fortunate enough to see the movie The Music Never Stopped. Its about a young man who had a brain tumor and after surgery lost his ability to communicate-until a brilliant music therapist played music (rock ‘n roll) from his youth that was meaningful to him. My sense was that due to the ‘information, in the form of light & sound’ that is within the fascia & the frequencies & vibrations resonating for him all the lights came on and he was able to function just as he did during that time in his life, clear, effective communication full of joy & light! It was a great piece of work, which made sense at a deep level & connected in so many ways to your MFR teachings. Thanks!

I too find this brief synthesis of concepts and information very helpful -
). And more than just on an intellectual level, yet also including thinking and synthesis and integration.
a new “flowing” of information
Garth W’s reflection and question is intriguing. I have felt that the twitches and tremors, both from my own experience and from my clients, often
felt like sudden “releases” of restrictions
that result in “shoots” of flow. Garth’s
thoughts now also coalesce with a
difference in feel at times to the twitches/tremors, so perhaps it’s both/none/something else.
Rebounding certainly is a great aid in engaging, releasing, refluidicizing (my word) the body’s being, all the way down to the minutest part. And thereby
improving the flow of information on all levels. Thanks!

Stanislav Grof, M.D. writes in ” The Holographic Mind”:
“Over three decades of systematic studies of the human consciousness have led me to conclusions that many traditional psychiatrists and psychologists might find implausible if not downright incredible. I now firmly believe that consciousness is more than accidental by-product of the neurophysiological and biochemical processes taking place in the human brain. I see consciousness and the human psyche as expressions and reflections of a cosmic intelligence that permeates the entire universe and all of existence. We are not just highly evolved animals with biological computers embedded inside our skulls; we are also fields of consciousness without limits, transcending time, space, matter and linear causality.”
And fortunately…he’s not the only one who believes this and is willing to denounce some ‘facts’ which remain held by too many of the nature of our existence.
Good stuff coming to the ‘front’ of the quantum shift we are all experiencing as ‘new information’ is more palatable through the efforts of so many who are the mavericks bringing exciting insights and information to this century.

Thank you for a wonderful reminder of another aspect of why rebounding is so healing. I also use rebounding in every session, especially for those clients who just have a hard time trusting their bodies to let go. It truly is amazing to me to watch the changes that occur from this simple, but powerful part of MFR. This often is a “back door” approach to helping the clients feel what is happening in their body if they are numbed out. This is also the technique that always gets moans, sighs, and “I feel that all the way to my toes” comments. Plus, it’s fun to both give and receive. Thank you, John.

I asked one of my clients, (she is 76) if she was game to try something new that I’d learned at Rebounding. I told her that the music she would hear would probably be totally new to her and if she didn’t like it tell me to halt. I put on Brent Lewis and said “Gotta Dance”.
As we started to work, shock and fear shown on her face for a few moments to be replaced by a little smile that slowly grew. I said just let go and she did. She made it bigger and started vocalizing for the 1st time. When I started to soften and slow down, Pat was not having it and ordered me to keep going. She was hollering and laughing for a complete hour on that table. She has been shut down with depression since her husband died.
When she got up and dressed, her hips had unlocked and she was beaming. She asked for a copy of the CD. She is playing it at the township hall where all the seniors go to walk. I worked on 2 of her friends the next day and they asked for it.
A week later, I receive a call from another one of her friends for an MFR Drum Sex shaking session. ‘Rockin’ seniors never to late to learn and try something new.
