“The Healing Zone”
Hi Sheila….How are those cold winter nights in Vermont? In answer to your question, “could you please describe how Myofascial Release allows the therapist to shift into the “healing zone” for both ourselves and our clients?”
Most of the educational system is not true education. It has degraded into mass hypnosis. It is mostly memorization, which is not true thinking.
In other words, we are taught what to think, not how to think.
We were told the only valuable form of consciousness was our intellectual aspect. Intuition was ridiculed, so one of our most valuable talents was diminished.
We were taught to use our intellectual side when treating someone. I simplistically refer to our intellectual side as “channel 5.” We were then taught linear, logical protocols or formulas to treat a non-linear, illogical body as if it was some object without consciousness. No wonder most forms of therapeutic intervention only produce temporary results!
My years of experience with Myofascial Release has shown me the extreme value of using Myofascial Release techniques to switch the client into a deeper level of consciousness. Myofascial Release allows the client safely, efficiently and effectively to switch into their subconscious level which I refer to as “channel 3.”
The subconscious is the healing zone. Neuro-scientists have recently discovered that the subconscious has a data base of over 10 million to one over the intelectual side, channel 5.
I train the therapists that attend my seminars to purposely move into the “hypnagogic state”, “channel 3″ ,while treating and to teach their clients to do the same so they can break out of the flight or fight response that has blocked their healing, otherwise one is limited to temporary results.
Myofascial Release’s utilization of both the intellect and the wisdom of our intuitive, instinctive consciousness creates authentic healing.
