“The Healing Zone”

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Hi Sheila….How are those cold winter nights in Vermont?   In answer to your question, “could you please describe how Myofascial Release allows the therapist to shift into the “healing zone” for both ourselves and our clients?”

Most of the educational system is not true education.  It has degraded into mass hypnosis.  It is mostly memorization, which is not true thinking.

In other words, we are taught what to think, not how to think.

We were told the only valuable form of consciousness was our intellectual aspect.  Intuition was ridiculed, so one of our most valuable talents was diminished.

We were taught to use our intellectual side when treating someone.  I simplistically refer to our intellectual side as “channel 5.”  We were then taught linear, logical protocols or formulas to treat a non-linear, illogical body as if it was some object without consciousness.  No wonder most forms of therapeutic intervention only produce temporary results!

My years of experience with Myofascial Release has shown me the extreme value of using Myofascial Release techniques to switch the client into a deeper level of consciousness.  Myofascial Release allows the client safely, efficiently and effectively to switch into their subconscious level which I refer to as “channel 3.”

The subconscious is the healing zone.  Neuro-scientists have recently discovered that the subconscious has a data base of over 10 million to one over the intelectual side,  channel 5.

I train the therapists that attend my seminars to purposely move into the “hypnagogic state”,  “channel 3″ ,while treating and to teach their  clients to do the same so they can break out of the flight or fight response that has blocked their healing, otherwise one is limited to temporary results.

Myofascial Release’s utilization of both the intellect and the wisdom of our intuitive, instinctive consciousness creates authentic healing.

How to find a Myofascial Release Therapist

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Hi Marsha …. I am glad you had a good experience with Myofascial Release.  It doesn’t take long with Myofascial Release to take one into the deeper dimensions of life.

I have a visual “photographic memory” so that I remember everyone’s face, body and the felt/sense of their essence, but I have had the opportunity to train so many that I can’t remember all the names and their locations.

What would help you is to go to my web site (www.myofascialrelease.com) and find the Myofascial Release directory or go to MFR-talk on the home page of my web site and join the Myofascial Release chatline.  The Myofascial Release chatline has therapists and physicians that I have trained from around the world from beginning level to advanced level.  There is no cost and ask for a therapist in the area you are interested in to respond.

I hope  this helps you and look forward to meeting you in the future.

Fireside Chat

Wednesday, December 05th, 2007

Hi Bob.  Nice to hear from you.  Bob has had a successful Myofascial Release practice in Dubois, PA for over 20 years.  Bob brings up an important point i.e.:  the client lying there passively wanting to be “fixed” that rarely achieves their goals.

We were taught that we should be able to “fix” our clients.  The problem is that we can’t “fix” anybody.  The other word that I have problems with is “healer.”  We can’t heal anybody.  But with Myofascial Release and other forms of manual therapy, such as massage, energy techniques and bodywork,  we assume the role of facilitator or guide to enable and empower our clients to tap into the awesome healing power within all of us.

As you know, we need to continually educate our clients on the value of them moving out of the passive mode and into being a more active participant that is responsible for their own health.

The reason that I just developed the new “Fireside Chat” DVD (www.myofascialrelease.com)  is to deepen the therapist’s and client’s understanding of my Myofascial Release principles and how to enhance the clarity of their mind, achieve emotional tranquility, achieve their goals and deepen their healing potential.

Bob is a highly talented Myofascial Release therapist and if you are having problems and would like to experience Myofascial Release contact Bob at : bobmfrptx@atlanticbb.net
