I am happy to see you take the NCB to task for their behavior here in PA. As someone who has been aware of the licensure effort in PA since the beginning and a school owner I was dismayed that the NCB would interfere in the process at such a delicate time of the negotiations toward getting the bill passed. I am very happy to say that Pennsylvania, in spite of the NCB efforts, does have a signed licensure bill and that the board has the power to decide which test(s) are going to be used.

The bill in PA just passed the house and the senate today! The governor already said he will sign it.
Hooray for PA finally getting it done despite NCB.

Laura,

Thank you for making things clear with the recent email from NCB. I'm a practicing therapist in PA and have been waiting for licensure for many years now. The fact that they were/are trying to stop the process is very upsetting. You sharing your wisdom and insight is greatly appreciated.

As a former Pennsylvania resident, born and raised, I am beginning to believe that to take the exam, even though it's not recognized by New York State, may not be worth my time taking.

I had a go around with Jillian Kelley today about carrying over CEU's. I lost 10 CEU's
This all started with a call I placed 6 weeks after submitting my second recert.
"for some reason the e-mail was received blank and I needed to resubmit"
My check made it ok and I received a e-mail saying they had my app and would contact me if any thing was missing. It was a good thing I called them.
Ms. Kelley got real defensive when I mentioned Florida using the MBLEx
I have been in the business 11 years and have heard many other therapists complain about
the NCBTMB.
What a shame
