About Maria

Maria G. Turchi, a nationally certified massage and bodywork therapist, received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Baruch College and graduated from Healing Hands Institute in Westwood N.J. She is also an instructor for CARE International (The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education), and travels internationally, lecturing and teaching health-care professionals and other interested persons about the benefits of essential oil therapies. Maria offers workshops which include the history and use of essential oils, integrating essential oils into massage, using essential oils with children, as well as Vitaflex and Raindrop technique training.

After working as an accountant for 20 years, Maria learned about essential oils and massage therapy while searching for ways to improve the health of her son, who has Down syndrome. This rewarding work has evolved into offering massage and wellness consulting to a diverse clientele including children with disabilities.
